VIXY is growing rapidly and to support this growth we are looking for a Medior/Senior Full Stack Developer with a focus on backend to join our team. VIXY provides a Software as a Service (SaaS) video platform for media companies, film distributors and content owners to manage, publish, monetize and analyze their video content.

Your role within VIXY
As a Full Stack Developer at VIXY you are responsible from the start with the development of a new video portal for the educational and enterprise market. The new platform will be API-first and built with the objected oriented programming philosophy in mind. Furthermore, you will work on adding innovative features to our existing Online Video Platform (OVP).
Your focus will be particularly on server-side technologies and working with API’s (web servers, database servers) and developing next-generation scalable, flexible and high-performance systems. To be successful in this role you have a broad view on development that goes beyond technique. You also have:
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a develope
- Proven knowledge of server-side languages, RESTful API’s en oAuth
- Proven knowledge of XML, HTML(5) and CSS
- Proven knowledge of MySQL
- Proven knowledge of Javascript, jQuery and AJAX techniques
- Proven knowledge of Objective Orientated Programming
- Proven knowledge of working with Git and version control.
- Experience working with frameworks, REAKT or NodeJS will give you an advantage
- Experience working with Kaltura (our core video API) will give you an advantage
- Experience working with Drupal and/or Kaltura will give you an advantage
